The Toyota 4x4 Pickup (RA-1028 aka #5828, also referred to as the HiLux 4x4) appeared in the 1982-85 Tamiya Catalogs.
The 4x4 Blazing Blazer (RA-1029 aka #5829) appeared in the 1982-84 Tamiya Catalogs.

TOYOTA 4x4 PICKUP
Using a light truck body mounted on a rugged frame, this Toyota pickup truck
is well known as a multi-purpose work vehicle. With four wheel independent suspension,
it is widely used for recreational activities, business and pleasure.
4x4 BLAZING BLAZER
The Chevrolet Blazer is a very popular American, multi-purpose vehicle. It is
seen all over the country being utilized by the young generation for all types
of recreational activities involving outdoor camping, fishing and hunting.
Model Specifications: Scale: 1/10. Overall length: 500mm. Overall width: 230mm. Overall height: 200mm. Wheelbase: 287mm. Front tread: 125mm. Rear tread: 145mm. Duralumin ladder frame.Rigid axle leaf spring suspension. Servo selected 4 or 2 wheel drive and high or low speed 2 wheel drive. Sealed radio control box and gear case. RS-540S motor included. A realistic and durable body made of dense polystyrene.
The two differed mainly in the cosmetics.. The Toyota 4x4 also had some sort of transistorized speed control.
